Description
Cause and Effect Expository Writing Prompts are designed to help students explore the relationship between events and their outcomes. Each prompt encourages students to read the scenario, think about what happens first (the cause), and identify what follows as a result (the effect). These writing prompts will encourage students to use higher level thinking skills to read the prompt write the cause respond with the effect and reflect.
