These passages were great for learning about different of Fall animals. My kids discovered things they did not know about owls when they are in flight and how squirrels hide their food in many different places. It made for interesting reading and fun. Thank you so much!

I love that these passages are highly engaging. After reading each paragraph we spent time discussing the main idea and details. It’s organized very well, so that multiple standards can be quickly hit using it! My students commented that they enjoyed reading them as well! Thanks!

Love the chosen animals! I also like how you make students think their answers out. That’s the kind of thing I’m always on the look out for. I’m looking forward to seeing how my students enjoy the texts.
Thank you!

I love using non fiction passages. Students learn to gather information, take notes, highlight important information, etc. Then, after reading the passages, students get to choose an animal to report back on. This leads to writing and then eventually typing their report. It takes a while, but this is a great way to introduce students to “research.”
