I put this up on my Google classroom in conjunction with a paper packet that had reading passages, maps, flags, etc. My students were required to complete the pages in their packet first on the Holiday we were learning that day, then they went on their computers and used these graphic organizers to demonstrate the learning from the passages and activities from the packet. This digital template made my kids identify information while also having choice with what facts they found most interesting. My kids loved holidays around the world and this was a great addition to show their learning progress. My kids were hooked!

We used this as a research project in the weeks leading up to our Christmas break. It was a nice break from our usual routine, and the students really liked it. I required them to do 4 of the holidays, and they could do more if they chose to. Most students did more 🙂
Grace Stafford –
