This was a great resource to use the first week back after winter break. I used this resource as the “I do” and the “We do” part of the lesson. I focused on reviewing main idea, literal questions, and summary writing for these lessons. I also paired this lesson with the “New Years 2024 One Word Resolutions Activities New Years 2024 Bulletin Board” resource, which was the “You do”. Although I didn’t use all the passages, in this resource, my kids did enjoy the ones we used and it paired very well with the other resource. I created slides to go along with this resource which made our reading lessons that first week back go smoothly as we eased back into school.
