My students liked this resource the week before break during small groups.
Bridgett B. –
I used this resource to help my students prepare their demonstration speech outlines for a public speaking assignment. The clear structure and example format were incredibly helpful for both planning and organizing their ideas. I appreciated how the resource emphasized labeling each section (like “Attention Grabber” and “Thesis Statement”)—this made it easier for students to understand the parts of a strong introduction and conclusion.
What I liked:
The Roman numeral and capital letter format taught students proper outline formatting.
The sample speech topic helped students visualize how to apply the structure to their own topics.
It was especially useful for students who struggle with writing and organization.
What could be improved:
It might be helpful to include a checklist or rubric to guide self-review before submission.
A visual example (screenshot of a completed outline) would support more visual learners.
Overall, this resource saved time and boosted student confidence in speech writing. I would definitely use it again!
