This has been an amazing resource as a first year teacher to scaffold writing for my students. It goes along the Lucy Calkins writing units pretty well (both third and fourth grade).

Edit: I have started using it more and I really wish there was a blank or editable booklet included in here. For example, for the research booklet, I want students to use the booklet as their final product and not necessarily the research scaffold. It would be nice for kids to write a title and subheading sections like “All About sharks” or “Fun Facts About Sharks” instead of it just saying “Research Writing Draft,” etc.
