Seriously, I struggle with poetry!! This bundle is FANTASTIC!! It’s the full year and you can study one poem a week. I love the teacher notes – such a big help to me!! It’s easy to print and teach! My kids love if I print the anchor charts smaller to put inside their notebooks for easy access to look back on. Wonderful resource!!!

Love the poems. Good selection and some original poems. Using in Southern Hemisphere so the seasonal poems don’t always work though.

I have incorporated this into my reading block for fluency practice. It is a great way to squeeze in poetry standards.

I really like the way this is set up to do one poem per week. It helps me to fit in teaching poetry when I don’t have room in my long range plan for an entire unit.

Susie Henriques –
I used these poems with my grade 4 students. At the beginning of the year they visualized and made connections. Throughout the year I changed the activity.
