Finding resources for context clues that aren’t dry can be a challenge, but this was a hit. I used this with my 3rd/4th/5th-grade English learner students, and the graphic organizers really helped them visualize the process of “detecting” word meanings. It turned a tricky skill into a manageable (and fun) activity. Highly recommend for any upper elementary teacher!
