    I have loved using this resource to help teach how to breakdown poetry. I like the different types of questions that get the students to think deeper about the poem. I often tell the students that poetry has less words but more thinking. The only thing I did to add to the students understanding of the poem is google the author. Sometimes knowing when they were alive of information about their life can add to deeper understanding.

    I really like this resource. I use it for a daily 5 centre activity. There was no prep just print out. I use paper protectors so that each student can use during centres without having to print a class set. I like that it has many short articles so that I can switch them out.
