HOW EACH WEEK WORKS: Each week follows a clear 5-day writing structure:
- Day 1 – Paragraph Editing: Students read the writing prompt and edit a paragraph connected to the topic, correcting spelling, punctuation, and usage.
- Day 2 – Notice & Brainstorming: Students notice how the edited paragraph connects to the prompt, brainstorm ideas, create a jot list, and choose one idea to write about.
- Day 3 – Introduction (Hook Writing): Students write an engaging introduction paragraph using 3–4 strong sentences that hook the reader.
- Day 4 – Body Paragraphs: Students draft the body of their writing using clear details, strong descriptions, and events in order.
- Day 5 – Ending, Revising & Editing: Students write a strong conclusion and revise using CUPS and edit using ARMS.
